Make sure during the booted install to follow the illustrated steps to delete all partitions down to Unallocated Space to get it cleanest, then click Next to let it auto-create the needed partitions, format them and begin install - this makes it foolproof. If Reset won't run then use the same bootable media to Clean Install which should get you past all difficulties as it has hundreds of thousands of others who have followed the steps in this link and never come back to report another problem. Īs to Reset being missing on the Advanced Troubleshoot Options menu, it is not on that menu but on the previous one Troubleshoot Options. This is the modern way to reinstall Windows 10 in 20 minutes if it becomes irreparable, but i would use the expert's choice and not built-in. You'd need to have a System Image you saved for it to find one. It seems like your PC failed during a version Update which is why it has that choice to Go Back on the Advanced Menu. BUT, the problem is, this option does not exist. it says "We ran into a problem and wont be able to take you back to from the Windows setup menu, i also tried "run a previous version", when i try this it dosnt work. When I start the computer up with the USB (that has the media creation tool) it gives me options but they don't work. Without the USB, the computer just keeps going back to the bios menu when I restart. I can access the UEFI Bios, but that is all. System restore, system image recovery, startup repair and previous version don't work. I've downloaded the media creation tool to a USB. I'm hoping for some help with this issue, I dont believe explorer is working - not sure what caused this - When I start up my computer it just keeps going to the UEFI Bios (I have Windows 10 and am using ASUS motherboard).
